Dr. Warren V. Filley is a Fellow of both the American College of Allergy, Asthma & Immunology (ACAAI) and the American Academy of Allergy, Asthma and Immunology (AAAAI). Dr. Filley has served on the Board of Regents of the ACAAI. He also has chaired the Credentials Committee and Public Relations Committee for the College. He currently serves on the Public Relations Committee for the College and the Aerobiology Committee for both the College and Academy. He represented the College on the National Allergy Bureau Oversight Committee and now serves on the Academy's NAB Operations Committee, which supervises the release of pollen and mold counts to the media and general public. In addition Dr. Filley serves on the Academy's Immunotherapy Committee and their Media Fink program. He is a reviewer for both JACI and the Annals.

Dr. Filley is clinical professor of medicine at the Oklahoma University Medical Center in Oklahoma City, where he is a private practitioner at the Oklahoma Allergy and Asthma Clinic. He is double boarded in Internal Medicine and Allergy/Immunology.

Dr. Filley was president of the Oklahoma Allergy & Asthma Society from 1995 to 1996 and later served as chair of its CME committee. A past board member of the Oklahoma Medical Political Action Committee, Dr. Filley takes his community leadership role seriously. He has served on the board of directors for the Oklahoma Garden Festival and the Oklahoma Horticultural Society as well as a past president of the Horticultural Society. He has been involved as a mentor for the Oklahoma City Youth Leadership Exchange and has been a member of their board of directors. He has served as a member of the Collections Ad Hoc Committee for the Oklahoma City Zoological Trust. Currently he is a member of the Myriad Gardens board of directors.

Dr. Filley graduated with Honors in Biology from the University of Kansas and received his doctorate of medicine from the University of Kansas. He completed his residency in Internal Medicine at University of Oklahoma Health Science Center in Oklahoma City and his fellowship in Allergy/Immunology at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota.
