John R. Bozalis
Dr. Bozalis has been a member of the Oklahoma Allergy & Asthma Clinic since 1973. His father, Dr. George Bozalis, was one of the founders of the clinic. He received his medical degree from O.U, College of Medicine and completed post-doctoral training in internal medicine at Henry Ford Hospital in Detroit, Michigan. He completed his subspecialty training in allergy & clinical immunology at University of Michigan. He is a fellow of the American Academy of Allergy, Asthma and Immunology, and also of the American College of Allergy, Asthma and Immunology, the American College of Chest physicians, and the American College of Physicians. He is board certified in Internal Medicine and Allergy & Immunology.
Dr. Bozalis is also a member of the Oklahoma County Medical Society, the Oklahoma State Medical Association and the American Medical Association.
When not practicing medicine Dr. Bozalis can be found bird hunting, fly fishing, golfing, traveling or gardening. His real passion is teaching healthy lifestyles to elementary school-age children in an effort to reverse the rise of obesity in Oklahoma. He takes this seriously, serving as president of the board for Schools for Healthy Lifestyles since its inception.
