Dr. Atkinson joined the staff at the Oklahoma Allergy & Asthma clinic in 1993. He is board certified by the American Board of Allergy, Asthma & Immunology and is a clinical professor at the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center Department of Internal Medicine.

Dr. Atkinson completed a two year fellowship in allergy and immunology at the University of Texas Medical School in Galveston. He earned his medical degree at OU College of Medicine where he also performed his post-graduate training in internal medicine.

Dr. Atkinson lives in Edmond with his wife Julie and three children. He enjoys community activities, his children's sports, and his own passion for golf.
