Dr. Neagu joined the Oklahoma Allergy & Asthma Clinic staff in 2014. She is board certified in Allergy & Immunology and Internal Medicine.
After graduating from the University of Timisoara College of Medicine, Romania she completed her Internal Medicine Residency at Weiss Memorial Hospital, Chicago and then she completed the Allergy and Immunology Fellowship at Rush University Medical Center, Chicago.
Dr. Neagu performed research in topics including asthma and vitamin D insufficiency and deficiency, medication and food allergy, and nasal allergies.
She is a member of the American Academy of Allergy, Asthma and Immunology, the American College of Allergy, Asthma and Immunology.
Dr. Neagu also has a special interest in patient care and the impact of human factor on the environment. She enjoys treating all aspects of allergy, including nasal, ocular and skin allergies, anaphylaxis, urticaria and allergen immunotherapy.
Dr. Neagu believes it is important to educate patients about their health and encourages them to take an active role in their healthcare. She listens carefully to the concerns of her patients and personalizes treatment plans for each individual.
She lives in Oklahoma City with her husband and two children.
